I am an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Instructor at Balıkesir University, Türkiye, where I have been teaching and researching in the field of language education. Over the years, my work has mainly focused on academic integrity, AI-supported language learning and assessment, and the development of ethical policies in education. I am particularly interested in how we can foster a culture of academic integrity in both higher education and K-12 settings.
In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have had the opportunity to be involved in several international projects, including those supported by The International Research Foundation for English Language Education (TIRF) and Erasmus+. I am also currently a member of many working groups within the European Network for Academic Integrity. Through my research, I aim to contribute to a better understanding of how artificial intelligence can be used ethically and effectively in language teaching and assessment, while also supporting educators in upholding academic integrity.
